Today I was asked, "why is your company called 'Covenant Eyes Photography"? I wondered when someone would ask! I think it is evident by the "ABOUT" section of my web page that I am a man who believes that the Lord and Creator of this world is my Hero and the one that I follow to eternity. He is my all and all.
 

If we look at the dictionary definition it means things like; promise, contract, agreement and pledge. Then if we continue with that thread of reflection I have made a "pledge" with my eyes. That pledge is to photograph only things that edify people positively and will not in any way detract from my faith and our God.  So with that in mind look at Job 31:1,  “I Have made a covenant with my eyes; How then could I gaze at a virgin? (NASB)." This means not to lust for woman. But, we can lust for many things and I do not want to cause anyone to fall from grace because of my images. I have had my faults with lust for ungodly things as everyone has. I can't promise to not be tempted again, but I can promise not to cause temptation for someone else....That is what "Covenant Eyes Photography" stands for.....PJ Keenon
